Noah Bell | Large
Bell with Story | These babies have a place in our hearts
All Noah Bells are distinctive from all other bells due to their melodic tones. Each bell is completely handmade and individually tuned.
The noah bells are produced by a tiny community of 20 families in a single village in the Kutch District, India. A secret family formula of smelting a combination of iron and copper as well as hand hewing of wooden clappers, is passed down from generation to generation.
The bells are traditionally used by shepherds to tend their flocks and also by rural dwellers to scare away devils and evil spirits.
The traditional name of these bells is KHADKI. Khadki literally means bells in the local language of the craftsmen which is Kutchi.
